So you have purchased a utility 4x4 ATV and some camping gear, now where can you go ATV camping? Well more and more ATV riding and camping areas are getting difficult to find and sometimes you may find a place to ride but camping is not allowed or vise verse. ATV camping is a lot like backpacking or primitive camping, it's all about getting out to those remote uncrowded campsites with all your camping gear and supplies for several days of fishing, hunting, hiking, riding, and relaxing around the campfire undisturbed. I thought it would be nice to have a list of ATV camping areas organized by state, so I started doing some research and making some inquires on some forums and was able to put together a pretty good list of ATV camping areas by state. I am continually updating the list adding new areas and deleting areas that have no longer allow ATV camping. Now, I am constantly getting emails from around the country informing me of new changes and new areas not yet listed. If you are aware of a great spot for ATV camping that is not on the list or have new information about existing areas on the list please contact me and I will update the list.

We really like Little Sahara in Western Oklahoma. It is a sand dune type area with lots of area to ride and a very friendly environment that ecourages riding.

Michigan has some great sand dunes to go out riding in. Great water activites close by as well which means more adventure on your vacation.

I ride and camp alot here in NE Tenn. Blackhouse mountain rode near picket state park. theres miles and miles of trails with Rockshelters, caves, waterfalls, overlooks, a mineral Lake. etc.. plus your near by a 187000 acre national Forest just to the east, and Danial boone national forest to north. the trails cross over into kentucky some running as far north as Cumberland lake.

FANTASTIC 1 week trip to check out the old ghost towns in Monitor Valley & Big Smokey Valley, Nye County Nevada. Camped @ Pine Creek campground. Easy trails to great historic sites of the early gold rush days.

Cool Hub I had a few for wheelers I had a 425 mag Polaris and a 400 Polaris they just were not made good enough to really enjoy so I sold them. I guess it gets thin out hunting and working in the mud under a brand new machine .
